Say a little prayer!

Brian has a BIG interview tomorrow with a company in Greenville. We both have a good feeling about this so please say a prayer for him tomorrow as he goes into his interview at 2pm. I am so anxious for him.

24 years...

Happy Birthday to me!
Hope y'all are enjoying your Sunday!

As all the freshman kids start moving to college, I can't help but be a little jealous. I think this song depicts it perfectly. Boy do I miss the start of a Carolina year.

And they're out!

The teeth are out. It took a whopping 30 minutes to get all 4 teeth out. That is just crazy to me. I didn't really feel the effects of the nitrous (aka: laughing gas). They put my IV in right away and I talked to my nurse for about 10 minutes or so. The next thing I knew was they were putting in my sutures and then they were waking me up. It was quick. I haven't had too much pain thank goodness. I do think I bled a bit more than others. It has subsided. That was the only uncomfortable thing for me. I am still numb on one side of my mouth/lip. It is wearing off. I have not been in horrible pain, just a little sore. I am hoping this is the way it stays.

I think I have caught up on any and every Keeping Up with the Kardashians & Khloe & Lamar episodes. I sent my sister to get me some movies. I honestly could have gotten them myself... but she was already out. I chose the movies "Fear" with Mark Wahlberg & Reese Witherspoon. It's old but I saw it on TV one day and never got a chance to finish it so I'm dying to see the rest. I also told her to get "Jumping the Broom" & "No Strings Attached." I think I am taking tomorrow off too. I have all my sick days so why not. Besides, everyone says the 2nd day is always the worst.

My sister had her 3 wisdom teeth taken out last Thursday. She got to eat a sandwich today. I am jealous. Chick Fil A sandwich would be so good right now. I did have a strawberry milkshake from there today. I don't even want to know how many calories were in that. That's really about the only food I have had besides some Campbell's Chicken and Stars "soup at hand." YUM! It was salty. I guess that's why I liked it.

Anyways, I hope everyone has had a wonderful Monday. I am just glad everything has gone smoothly so far with this whole process. Tomorrow could be different, but I think I'll be OK. I am a good healer. Have a great week.

Losing all my wisdom...

Teeth that is. All four to be exact. Tomorrow at 9:30, they are all coming out. Say a little prayer for me. Surgery is never fun. Thank goodness for pain meds. What a wonderful start to the week, right?

My Girls...

These are some of my best girlfriends. I do not know how I would get through life without them. Who are your best friends?

If you are looking for something funny...

Read this! I am currently in the middle of it. I think it is so funny. I have always loved to hear about my friend's dating lives and all the crazy people they meet. This book details this girl's (Shallon Lester) love life.

4 days...

It's Sunday?

Is the weekend really over already? I can't believe it's back to work tomorrow. Brian and I had such a good time this weekend in Charlotte and seeing our friends Dana, Patrick and their little one in Rock Hill. We had so much fun with the Hamilton's. Whit is so much fun. I love to see a baby smile and boy does he ever! He is growing so fast; I can't believe it. It was so good to catch up with them. We love our Hami's!

I am very nervous about this week. I have a lot of stuff going on. I have to give a presentation on Tuesday to a medium size group of people. Side note: I don't speak in front of crowds. I am outgoing. But I don't do crowds. I am giving a class (which includes some managers) on a topic which I had to learn from scratch myself. Therefore, I am deathly afraid they are going to ask questions that I may not know the answers too. I have been worrying myself over it all weekend. Lord, give me strength. Luckily the class doesn't have to be too long. Our corporate office asked that it be 20 mins. Regardless, it's 20 minutes that I am standing up there. Hopefully not falling all over my words but sounding like a professional. Just say a prayer for me please!

And on the same day, I get to make a trip to the oral surgeon to have a consultation about getting my wisdom teeth out. My surgery appointment is the 15th. Ugh. The only think I am not looking forward too is plunking down the $250 to "hold" my surgery date. I have TOO many financial obligations going on at the moment.

On top of the fact that my birthday is at the end of this month, and Brian won't be here. Long long complicated story. Another UGH! Is it okay to go ahead and say I am ready for August to be OVER? I think this month is going to be trying, emotionally and physically. But, the Lord doesn't give us what we can't handle.

Anyways, enough of my blabbering. I hope you all had a fab weekend.

Have a great week.

Off to Charlotte...

When most of you read this, I will be on my way to or already in Charlotte with the beau! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend. I will have a weekend recap on Sunday/Monday!

What a bummer!

As you know, Brian and I had plans to go see Kings of Leon this Friday. It was my gift to Brian for our 2 year anniversary (07.26.11). However, yesterday I received an email that said they were cancelling the show! I was so mad. I had been planning this forever and Brian had been looking forward to it for a long time. He has never seen them and was dying too. Needless to say, they have cancelled their entire US tour citing that the lead singer needs to rest. I however think there is more to the story. Celebs and their lives. GET A GRIP ON YOUR SELF FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!

To wrap up the story, Brian had already prepaid the hotel so we are now bound to this weekend. Which, in my eyes, is fine because we didn't get to see each other on our anniversary, and we need a getaway together. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to hang out that aren't crazy? And by crazy I mean EpiCentre. We are trying to enjoy ourselves... not rage. There is a time and place for that but not this weekend. Let me know if you guys have any ideas. I feel bad because this was his gift and now the concert is not happening.

We still do plan on visiting our friends in Rock Hill of course. I can't wait to see my faves and kiss on that sweet baby.

Happy Tuesday!!
