And they're out!

The teeth are out. It took a whopping 30 minutes to get all 4 teeth out. That is just crazy to me. I didn't really feel the effects of the nitrous (aka: laughing gas). They put my IV in right away and I talked to my nurse for about 10 minutes or so. The next thing I knew was they were putting in my sutures and then they were waking me up. It was quick. I haven't had too much pain thank goodness. I do think I bled a bit more than others. It has subsided. That was the only uncomfortable thing for me. I am still numb on one side of my mouth/lip. It is wearing off. I have not been in horrible pain, just a little sore. I am hoping this is the way it stays.

Thank goodness for non-swelling medication. I think that can sometimes make it look 10 times worse than it is. Please excuse the lack of make up and messy hair. I have been laying in the bed all day and have taken a couple naps. I think the medicine made me sleepy.

I think I have caught up on any and every Keeping Up with the Kardashians & Khloe & Lamar episodes. I sent my sister to get me some movies. I honestly could have gotten them myself... but she was already out. I chose the movies "Fear" with Mark Wahlberg & Reese Witherspoon. It's old but I saw it on TV one day and never got a chance to finish it so I'm dying to see the rest. I also told her to get "Jumping the Broom" & "No Strings Attached." I think I am taking tomorrow off too. I have all my sick days so why not. Besides, everyone says the 2nd day is always the worst.

My sister had her 3 wisdom teeth taken out last Thursday. She got to eat a sandwich today. I am jealous. Chick Fil A sandwich would be so good right now. I did have a strawberry milkshake from there today. I don't even want to know how many calories were in that. That's really about the only food I have had besides some Campbell's Chicken and Stars "soup at hand." YUM! It was salty. I guess that's why I liked it.

Anyways, I hope everyone has had a wonderful Monday. I am just glad everything has gone smoothly so far with this whole process. Tomorrow could be different, but I think I'll be OK. I am a good healer. Have a great week.
