Hello there blog friends!! It's been a while. Hope you are doing fab!
The weather has been so nice lately & it has me ready for summertime travels! Do y'all have anything on the books?! Right now I have a few things planned.
We are headed to Aiken to be with Brian's parents this weekend for Memorial Day; his parents' neighborhood puts on a huge picnic with lots of activities...basically the hubs and I are going to try and beat out the kids in limbo & the greased watermelon...yes you read that right.
We are headed to Sullivan's Island for a day at the beach with friends and stay with my parents that first weekend in June. I am from Charleston so it's always a treat to get back. We are also all running a 5k together before we hit the beach. I mean, if I'm going to indulge in cocktails & good food, it wouldn't hurt to run a 5K with my friends, right? I think it's going to be super fun; I ran it last year and am aiming to beat my time. It's a race with myself and nobody else. Truly.
At the end of June and into July 4th week, we are headed to Montana to visit some of Brian's family. His mom is originally from there. I met that side of the family for the first time at our wedding and they are SUCH a blast. I can't wait to see what Big Sky is all about and take lots of pictures with our nice camera. I swear I was BORN to live out West.
Then 2 weeks after Montana, I head to good ole' dirty Myrtle with my best girlfriends for girls only weekend. It will be filled with cocktails & lots of shenanigans I am SURE. There is NEVER a bad time when we all get together. Airbrush t-shirts are a must, duh.
What do y'all have on the books!? Let me know! I love to hear about fun trips.
xoxo,
Haley

Weekend Round Up!
This past weekend was so fun! Friday after work, the hubs and I headed to Charlotte to spend the weekend with our newlywed friends Lauren & Daniel. They just bought a town home and live in the Ballantyne area. Y'all, it is SO nice! It has great restaurants all around and just looks so clean. I could have stayed. ;)
We started our weekend off with a tour of their new home, a glass of wine for the girls and beer for the boys, and then out to eat. We ate at Stone Mountain Grill. HOLY GOODNESS. It was amazingggg! I had the Firecracker Shrimp Wrap. I scarfed it down and didn't snap a picture. It was just too good. My girlfriend had the Firecracker Shrimp Tacos. They were soft on the outside and had a crunchy taco on the inside. We were thoroughly impressed. I kinda wanted to go back Saturday night but we hit up a restaurant in NoDa.

Friday night.
We then headed out over by South Park to a block party they were having. It was fun and the band was amazing! I forget their name, but they were from Atlanta. They had 3 girls singing in short sequin dress & then a full band. Here is a little snapshot.
We then headed to the Monford area to catch up with another couple and check out the bars there. We only went to one bar because we had to get up the next day for the Wells Fargo PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
Our hostess for the weekend. Can you tell we've had a few cocktails? :)
We had a slow morning on Saturday but they prepared an awesome breakfast for us and we were all of to the course!
Is this house not gorgeous?! It was one of the many on the course that was so stunning.
Daniel is a giant; we had no troubles finding him in a crowd.
Sweet friend!
Saturday night we hit up Revolution in NoDa. It's a great pizza spot that has a TON of different beers; right up my husband's alley. It was our first time in NoDa and it was...interesting. HA! We ate pizza there and called it a night. I wasn't feeling the best so I was all for heading back to the house. All in all, we had a FABULOUS weekend and can't wait to go back & do it all over again soon. :)
Hope y'alls weekend was great too!
